I love this story, and this is so quintessentially you! I've known you since kindergarten, and have always perceived you as someone who handled your burdens with such grace. Now I know it was at the expense of your own healing and self-acceptance. I'm glad to know you and have you in my life as a sister/Soror and friend.

Beautifully described. I would think he would call you because you might be someone willing to listen. Or, perhaps he'd feel you challenging him to get off the story. I know when I was going through my trauma, it deeply affected me. Only now, years after its resolution, am I seeing beyond it and with retrospect am amazed at the difference. It's like BC and AD. Two totally different time periods. One developing the drama trauma and then once resolved, how the energy changes and there is air again to breathe! I like how helpful this piece can be if one wants to read it and take heed of the gift!
