Excellent article. While caring for my disabled dad, I’m spending a lot of time with some of my MAGA family who loves both me and my children. Their professed love is evident to me in both word and action. Yet their political beliefs are antithetical to truly caring and loving. I struggle deeply with this conundrum. I appreciate the insights in your article. Encouraging me to continue to love my family while simultaneously exposing them to the inherit hate in their political beliefs.
